Artur endured odd challenges in his DL premiere. An overgrown lizard, a loaf with a machine gun and now... a king-sized armored frog? Well, no matter - the monk's spell tomes and will can get him through this. Even Jean's biggest trick, the usually feared Death spell, will have problems breaking through Artur's magic resistance, and the monk's significant speed edge will insure him double-strikes for maximum power. The innocent one of Magvel has proven before he can deal with craziness, and he will do so again!

As usual, Jean's own whimsical mind lost him this battle.
Surely, he could have won, too-A physical fighter against a mage? One that doesn't even dodge that much, and is frail?
...Well, maybe it would have been close.
Unfortunatly, Jean decided that the butch redheaded girl that happened to be in the arena would make a good candidate for a picture, and, after talking her into combing her hair, sat down and started painting, never noticing the glares and clenched fists.
Then the judges called for the battle to start, and Artur attacked.
They managed to get Jean out of the painting after a few hours-it was a rather large and sturdy canvas, and Artur had folded it a few times before shoving Jean through-but they still haven't gotten the paintbrushes out of there yet. And the paint will never come out of the clothes.
And now Bartre won't leave Artur alone. Seems he wants to learn fighting from Artur. Evidently he was impressed by Jean landing outside of the arena after Artur's final, looping throw.
Jean: 18
Artur: 40
