The endless war of nature against technology is a common theme in RPGs, and this week, it’s battling it out right here in the RPGDL's very own Light division! Beastmistress Lieza, a child of Earth, battles Belle, queen of machines. And unfortunately for Belle, while machines may normally have the advantage, she’s also allowed - in fact, required - to bring her own less than impressive fighting skills into the arena. She may be a marginally competent fighter, but she can’t hope to match Lieza’s spell arsenal. With accurate paralysis, the crippling Power Down, loads of full healing, and a slight speed advantage, Lieza will again prove why Arc the Lad healers have become such powerhouses in Light. |

Man, the wrench arm must be getting stronger! Belle managed to send yet another contestant packing with her mean swing - yet, her true desire is yet to be sated. Hugo, where art thou, sweet looooove? Well, seems like she'll just have to beat some more people into submission until Hugo realizes the big treasure chest he's missing! And Lieza sounds like a perfect victim: while she controls animals, she's just as pathetically frail as everybody else Belle's faced, sooooooo... yeah. Hugo could at least watch her in the arena, though - having Gadget Z as the sole supporting crew for Belle's stint certainly isn't healthy for her love life! Maybe she'll get what she wants when she reaches those tasty Light finals! |
Djinn and Tonic In a battle of 15-year-old girls, there is only ONE way to determine 'she who is most worthy of victory' - that's right, a BAKE-OFF! Belle proudly announced that her burning PASSION to bake for her one true love ("OMG Hugo <3!" ) would outshine Lieza's wishy-washy feelings for... for whoever it was she was in love with... And of course, the only person who could judge such a contest is the one and only: Necron! "What? Didn't you guys know I have a famous sweet tooth?" asked the Final Fantasy IX boss to the gaping stares given to him by the young girls. Belle began to sob, "NO NO NO NO! This isn't fair! I only want to cook for my beloved Hugo!" Lieza, however, a girl who spends her time training monsters, actually found Necron quite cuddly, "Oh wow, just look at his tail. It's so cute!" Belle wondered if that was actually a tail... And so the half-hearted bake-off began! Belle's cherry pie was left mostly untouched as Lieza spoon-fed her delicious cheesecake to the somewhat-biased judge. Zidane, Zelos, and the whole gamut of RPGDL perverts watched the event enviously, all desiring delicious CHEESECAKE themselves. Lieza: 36 |
