After her former student laid waste to Middle, it finally looks like the SeeDs are getting the respect they deserve. Hoping to duplicate Squally's success, Quistis enters the ring with whip in her hand and confidence in her heart. Much confidence in her heart, since her opponent is Vaida. Against such pathetic speed and strength, Quistis will have fun constantly doubling the incompetent Wyvern Knight while watching her inefficiently try to get past her Limit range. Even switching to a Killer weapon is suicidal, as a mistimed critical is a double whammy of failing to kill SeeD AND letting her access the fatal powers of her Limit. Now, the question is, should she cripple the dragonrider with a Bad Breath, or simply obliterate her with a Shockwave Pulsar? |

So some pathetic little worm wants to do battle with the great Vaida, does she? And she’s bringing a whip to a spearfight, no less. Well, the Wyvern Lord isn’t about to let such arrogance go unpunished. With her own heavy armor and Umbriel’s thick scales as her defense, Vaida will barely feel the laughably weak whip strokes, and she'll counter each one with a far more potent spear or sword blow of her own. And if this foolish schoolteacher thinks that she can trick a veteran warrior like Vaida into letting her access her Blue Magic limits, then she’s painfully mistaken. With a slim lance at the ready, the terror of the skies can easily control her damage, then draw her mighty Silver Lance to land the final blow! Onward, for the glory of Bern! |
