Opera Vectra

Oh sure, Asch may have been able to take down two frail little girls, but now he’s fighting a full grown woman whose fighting skill has been tempered in the heat of perilous battles. Opera’s unique Kaleidoscope Gun is famed for reigning hell upon her opponent’s head from all distances, and it will surely spell the doom of the flame-haired Asch. Surely the famed whiner will drown in the bullet barrage of Alpha on One before he can even get close to the three eyed beauty. And should he manage to close the space gap? Well, his extremely lackluster damage should have trouble matching up to Opera’s rapidly recharging Heal Star, capable of keeping her going no matter the situation on the battle field, which leaves her ample opportunity to whittle down Asch’s vitality until Asch will be so demolished that people will think his nickname will come from his own heavily bleeding wounds.

 Wielding the Seventh Fonon, there's little that can stop the rampage of Asch as he marches on towards Middle to face that damn Replica! Having felled the sorceress Taya and the mechanic Meg, beating up on Opera should be pretty easy. I mean, seriously - who the hell fights with a gun at melee range? Idiot. Asch's deadly combination of strike artes will be more than enough to put an end to Opera before she can pull out any of her fancy space tricks. Mixes of powerful magics like Explosion will round out his offensive against the Tetragene, and a final, battle-ending Rending Sabre will overwhelm his alien opponent in an instant. Not even her healing will allow her to survive - a single lapse in restoration, and Asch's blade will find itself wallowing in blood. A worthless fight, but a victory that brings Asch one step closer to proving himself the true heir to Yulia's Score.

Just imagine this, over and over.

"Booom! I'm going to turn you into a beehive!"

The stalemate is broken by one thing. While Asch is a fleshy knight quite capable of being shot into a beehive; Opera is not a replica. Asch fizzles out rather quickly in light of this stunning fact and reversal of fortune.

Opera is an excellent technician.

And her greatest ability is fudging things, thanks to the background of her life.

With a little ingenuity, a Seventh Ray, some assorted magical goods, and a movie of Asch's story(that she mostly slept through), she easily found the solution to this match.

And so, Asch, as he entered the arena, was shot in the face by a Prism Ballet.

Of course, Opera was shortly thereafter shot in the face by one. Legretta doesn't take to thieves kindly. But the damage-to Asch-was already done...
