In his various incarnations, he has been known as the Guardian of Hope, the beloved companion of the Sword Magess, the Golden Medium, and the devourer of Light fighters. Today, Lucied is finally getting a chance to win that second Light title. With his variety of forms, Lucied has something to spoil most Lights, and that holds true in this match too. Lucied’s Wild Arms 3 form has extreme physical defense on top of good HP, and Yukimaru is a physical fighter with SP issues. Given her limited and middling damage, the little ninja has little hope of overcoming Lucied’s tankiness and draining. After all, in her home game, it's undeniable that Yukimaru is naught but mid-level filler in the arena! |

Yukimaru's opponent this time, Lucied, is simply outclassed. He has impressive physical defense, but Yukimaru has other options as well. And it's not like she's going to have to rush to kill him, as his offense is absolutely horrible. His HP isn't so great either, so her Ice-based skills are going to hurt. A lot. By the time she runs out of SP, she'll have a huge head start and can patiently chip away at him. Since there isn't much else Lucied can do besides his usual, piddling attacks, he just has to sit there and take it. Sooner or later, Lucied will simply roll over and die, granting Yukimaru yet another victory. It's still a long road to a Light championship, but with opponents like these, it's an easy trip! |
Taishyr Yukimaru caught the flu a few days before the match. Lucied, meanwhile, was incapacitated with a medium case of stomach pain. The two decided to send seconds to hold their match for them in an epic battle of wits and muscle. Lucied sent Anastasia Valeria. Yukimaru sent Adell. Only one made it to the arena, however; since it was not officially a match for her, Anastasia could not exit her pocket realm, leaving a much-relieved Adell to win for Yukimaru by default.
