Season 46, Week 1
Tellah
(Final Fantasy IV)

Y'know, when most old folks are telling these clumsy, no-good kids to get off their lawns, it's accompanied by shaking their fist or maybe a cane. With Tellah, it's accompanied by massive fireballs, lightning bolts and icicles. Not to mention vile and debilitating status spells. Really, it's just not a smart idea to go bumbling around and wrecking the yard of a great and respected sage, but smart is certainly one thing nobody's ever accused Colette of being, and coordinated is another. This is one young lady who's about to get a sharp lesson in respecting her elders.

What’s a divine being like Colette doing languishing in Light? Well, she has another chance to prove herself as she makes it into another arena season. And this time, Colette is serious. Fed up of languishing in Light, the Chosen of Mana is ready and raring to go, ready to run anyone and anyone down in full throttle mode. Her attack-buffing skills and her physical moveset are well-suited to destroying the frail Tellah, too. He'd better beware because he’s facing one very moody angel who isn’t about to be messed with in her quest for a Light Championship.

An old man.

A young girl.

An old man who could easily render the girl completely immobile, twisting her to his every whim, his every thought and desire, who could easily show pictures of this to everyone who wished to see th-URK!

"And this is why we don't ever let Sten announce for matches." Tellah announced, as the smouldering monkey plummeted to the arena floor.

Colette was thankful enough to call the match. The two parted ways amiably.

After all, Tellah's a grandfather with serious grief and anger issues. Not the kind of old man to be dirty. They're always pathetic sorts, after all.

That didn't stop him from looking at Colette's rear on the way out though.

Tellah: 35
