Dorcas is among friends this season. First was Lord Pent's noble wife, and now it's his friend, the guardian of the desert Hawkeye. Hawkeye's one of the very few in Light who can match Dorcas swing for mighty swing; he's also one of the very few who is also on equal footing when it comes to his (awful) speed. Dorcas does have his advantages though. Bows make him far superior at ranged combat, and he's tougher and deals more damage than the desert titan. It's a close match between two equals and fellow castmates, but who bets against a man with the strength of Hector and the maturity of an adult to back it up?

Axe fight? Axe fight. Hawkeye is quite familiar with Dorcas, as they both served under Eliwood during the war. But now it seems that old comrades must instead match blades in the arena. When it comes to ability, both men are nearly evenly matched, with Hawkeye being forced to concede the edge in pure power to his opponent, but holding the advantage in both speed and defense himself. But there's one more little ace in Hawkeye's corner, the Berserker critical boost. Combined with a Killer Axe, that ability is sure to let the man from Nebata land that fatal blow first. It's a good thing that death isn't permanent around this place, isn't it?

The crowd was going wild! Loud cheers for both fighters were erupting in the crowd, drowning the sound of the battle below. This was a match of the ages, a beautiful depiction of the thrill and glory found in a perfect battle... At least according to the crowd tastes.
"He is going to attack with his axe!"
screamed loudly the announcer borrowed from Vesparia's coloseum to the raving casts of the various Fire Emblem, Shining Force and other "ability-less" characters. A battle consisting of nothing but plain regular attacks is absolute purity: a duel decided by their individual strength and prowess, not by using various cheating abilities or strategies. Strategy is for wars, not for honorable duels amongst men like Dorcas and Hawkeye!
"Oh! He turned his back and dodged the attack! What a battle! Oh! He is twirling his axe! This might be it folks!!!"
The audience gasped at the axe twirl, half in anticipation and half in horror at what would come. And come it did, ending the battle in a chorus of cheers.
"What a battle! This has been the most memorable event since the creation of this noble duelling league! And the glorious winner is..."
Dorcas: 28
Hawkeye: 37
