Maria stands a good chance of beating Vincent this week. Although she has no deathblows ( and a lack of physical prowess in general ), she won't need them. While her HP and Defense are lacking, her Ether Powered controls are powerful enough to rid herself of flamboyant one. As long as she can get a few shots off with her Controls, she should be fine.

Vincent DeBoule is probably the most notoriously flambouyant nobleman to emerge from the now-defunct Scarlet Moon Empire aside from Milich Oppenheimer himself. With good reason is he well known, as well, as his Wind rune as well as his more-than-adequate attacking skills make him a force to fear in Light. Maria's horrid durability makes him only seem even stronger in this match.

Before the match, Vincent, as was fitting for nobility of his high breeding, approached Maria and handed her a long-stemmed rose.
Sadly, Maria fainted as she accepted the gift, having pricked herself on a thorn. An aghast Vincent was awarded the match by default.
From the stands, a companion of Vincent's in the Dunan Army shook his head. "They say I know a thing or two of bad physical durability," he said in his usual (at least, usual for pre-Suikoden 3) sarcastic manner. "But it appears that, for once, even I have much to learn."

Vincent DeBoule: 13
NonEntity
I believe Maria should be able to get in the necessary Robo attack to put Vincent out.

Maria's Controls are powerful enough that Vincent has to heal after taking a hit from them or else even Maria's pitiful attack will take him out. This makes it a battle of MP, where Maria's MP will last for just as long as Vincent's spell charges. This would leave us with a rather pathetic physical duel to end it, except that Vincent would then break out the spell charges for his other spells, and promptly end it.
