Season 52, Week 2
Zell Dincht
(Final Fantasy VIII)

The Dinchster returns! Balamb Garden's favorite martial artist is roarin' to knock some heads and get some good 12-second ultimate Duels of Painful Booya-Style Death off this season, and Kongol is really the type of opponent up Zell's alley! The giant's status is woefully inaccurate, and Zell literally runs rings around this doofus. He might look impressive with that big dumb axe of his, but Zell firmly subscribes to the "The Bigger They Are, The Harder They Fall" theory. For added performance, we've told Zell that Kongol's the one hiding the hot dogs, so we should see him in top form and properly inspired for the match! Watch out for the flamin' fists!

Kongol is no stranger to fist fighters, but here, he will find his opponent sadly lacking compared to his old friend Haschel. Not only does Zell lack the blistering speed trademark to so many martial artists, he lacks the damage to go with his punches. On the other hand, our burly Giganto friend strikes quite a heavy blow with his Indora's Axe. Indeed, a blow that can knock Zell out cold with its instant death effect. With that, punishing non-limit damage for a Light plus formidable health and defenses aid his case. With so many positives against the chickenwuss, looks like Kongol is set to make his Emperor and brother proud in this new quest for DL fame!

Kongol couldn't possibly stand a chance.

Circumstances in this battle...just weren't right for him.

"But why was there a train going through the arena?" Quistis asked, baffled, as Zell waved to the crowd from atop the train he had, successfully, punched onto Kongol.

"Well, Selphie hasn't been bothering me the last few days..." Irvine noted grimly.

"Yeah, I'd heard she was pestering some Godlike or another about there not being enough trains here." Squall noted with a headshake.

"Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!" A distant squeal of joy could be heard from somewhere within the train. "Let's do it again!"

"Why do we let her breathe again?" Squall noted.

His friends, kindly, stayed silent.
