Good engineering is the result of careful planning and thought. The ideals Miluda babbles about are the opposite of that. Overthrowing the royal family?! Nonsense! Feudalism is the ultimate government concept. Who better than an uncorruptable leader to lead us through dark times? Cid's fighting style matches his backround with machines, specializing in giving and taking plenty of punishment. Cid'll be bringing the hammer down on Miluda, taking advantage of his superior durability. Crushing damage is the perfect way around a heavily armored Knight - and who better than Baron's master of airships to demonstrate how to hammer a few things into line?

That Cid with his airship! Only one of the upper class would have such an item, although one would think one of the upper class could then also have the means to look a bit more respectable than Cid! But never mind that, finally the dueling arena has afforded Miluda a chance to take down a noble of some sort! Now, Cid may be a physical tank, but that’s more than offset by his other woes. His speed, damage, and evasion all range from notably below average to non-existent entirely, giving our scrappy heroine plenty of chances to take down Cid with her combo of solid damage, counters, evasion, and double-turns. It won’t be easy, but Miluda will never give in!

It's the special skills that will make all the difference here. Yes, the ones that don;t do damage as it's a straightforward brawl without them.
Cid's Peep lets him gauge the strength and weaknesses of his opponent. It's a low-level white mage spell which most of them know. While there's potential to discover embarrassing secrets of the target, there's no direct effect on the target's fighting ability.
Miluda's Break skills are just as generic, possessed by Knights all around and outclassed by Divine Knights. Breaking weapons, however, has a very direct effect on an opponent's ability to fight if the opponent is reliant upon weapons.
Wiegraf's sister will be taking care of herself just fine.
