This week, the Crimson Noble is in for a out-and-out fight. Unfortunately, that's only on Elly's end, as she constantly has to pound Marivel with the same below-average attacks. Marivel can simply use StatusLok to stop Elly's Sleep effects, finishing the Solarisian off with her instant death attack, Guillotine. And due to her opponent's average speed, she should have no problem getting the first strike which is all she needs. |

Solarian officer Elly van Houten is currently thanking her lucky stars that she excels in that statistic so often associated with female leads: magic defence. Her prowess in that stat will reduce Marivel's various status magic to only mild dangers, while the Crimson Noble's own low defence and HP means that she will suffer severe pain at the hand of Elly's Rod. Toss in the fact that Marivel needs to open with StatusLok lest she fall prey to her opponent's added sleep status, and Elly is looking like a good bet to advance to the finals this week. |

You're hardly worth my time, but I guess there's no point in giving up," said Marivel brashly, smirking. "I guess nobody told you that I can put people to sleep," Elly noted. "I guess nobody told you that I can prevent status changes," said Marivel. "Well, I have magic that works pretty well." "When it works at all, you mean." "I... I'll show you!" cried Elly. "Show me what? Your finite frailty? Your pathetic human weakness? I'm a Crimson Noble, baby. I eat people like you for breakfast - literally.
