Cai's blasted through a pair of fairly weak fighters in his last two matches, but he isn't quite as lucky this fight. Gijimu brings good HP and very solid physicals to the table, which are a threat to Cai. What the Silent Wise King still has is his own bevy of brutal attack spells, reliable healing, and weak counters. With all those options, and his own background in tactics and scholarly thought, who's to say that he can't triumph over the Lampdragon bandit and make his way to the Championship bout? |

The Double Beat Rune has proven its worth this season, as it's double attacks have cut down fighter after fighter. The extra boost of power it gives just got Gijimu past Cyan last week, and he's looking to rely on it for a quick win again. King Cai possesses many qualities, but durability is not among them. His axe strikes will eat through Cai's limited HP at an alarming rate, and if Cai stops to try and heal, he's at risk of getting stuck ina heal lock. Either way, Gijimu is looking forward to capturing his third win. |
