The 2'11" extraterrestrial finds himself in a dire spot in his upcoming match. As with most Chrono Cross characters stuck in Light, Starky's damage is nothing terribly impressive and he offers absolutely no versatility in the duel: simply his attack and his White elemental techs, neither of which are notably effective against Mallow. All isn't lost, however, as Mallow himself is no durability god, and Starky may be able to off him with a nearly full attack sequence plus his level 7 Tech, Starstruck.

Having sent the defending champion of the division to a first-round exit, Mallow must be feeling pretty confident in his abilities this week. And indeed he should be; after all, he's one of the most versatile Lights up against Starky, a fighter who boasts nothing but damage and not very much of it. With his lightning magic and deceptively powerful Sonic Cymbals for offence, Mallow can easily outslug the pint-sized space invader, but with his HP Rain offering him as much full healing as he needs, he doesn't even have to.

Broc
Starky let out a howl. "Starky have miscalculated!" he exclaimed as he lay, looking up at the creature who had cracked Starky's space helmet. Mallow grinned. The jury was still out on which of the two were the cutest, but Mallow had defeated Starky in at least one battle.
Starky: 7
Mallow: 30
AAA
So, the prince of the cloud..things...faces the vertically challenged space alien. Unfortunatly, Starky doesn't even stand a chance. With his superior magical skills, and full healing, even Starky's Borg-like CC character qualities won't stand up to the skills of Mallow.
And, while you could make the case that both are cute, I believe a walking marshmallow is far more attractive than something that destorys crop fields and enjoys anal probing.
