Season 12, Week 3
Olan Durai
(Final Fantasy Tactics)

The legend of Olan Durai has begun, and it shall be one to rival that of even T.G. Cid. The young scholar came out of his first DL match like a true star, defeating the fan-favorite Big Joe without breaking a sweat. His next match won’t be so easy, though. Jacques, although a much less boisterous opponent, is far more dangerous. Thankfully, as other unfortunates have learned before, no range can save the sharpshooting mercenary from Starry Heaven's Galaxy Stop. And once he’s immobilized, it'll be time for him to teach the archer the true meaning of the word “silence.”

Once again, Jacques faces an opponent with a much flashier combat style than he. Sure, Olan Durai can stop time... but to what effect? His Galaxy Stop attack is terribly inaccurate, as likely to fail as to succeed, and its duration is pathetically short anyway. Toss in the fact that Olan's dictionary attacks scare few even in Light, let alone one as sturdy as the Harmonian sniper, and Jacques has an easy win. All he must do is wait patiently for Galaxy Stop to fail, as it often will, and introduce Thundergod Cid's adopted son to the business ends of his giant crossbow bolts.

Jacques's accuracy with a crossbow is to be feared.

Olan's physical, when not against the likes of Big Joe, is not.
