Season 14, Week 1
Wilder
(Suikoden III)

Sergeant Joe: champion. Rhett: champion. Now, from the shadows of the RPGDL roster, the final duck has emerged with the goal of bringing home the Duck Village triple crown. Wilder's not as strong, fast, or durable as his fellow ducks, but his Duck Halberd is still an object of fear in the weakest division. For his first match, Wilder will adopt the strategy that had Rhett taking Light last season: close in fast and hack away at the opponent. Against Wil, who is neither particularly durable nor whatsoever threatening at melee range, this is sure to be an effective tactic. It's only a start, but Wilder is well on the way to matching the accomplishments of his comrades.

Wil, a skilled archer and friend of Lyndis of Caelin, has gathered all of his courage and composure to face... a duck. A slow, polearm-wielding duck. Wil's superior speed and long-range fire-power should allow him to chip away at Wilder's armour, slowly wearing him down from a distance. A couple of well-aimed arrows should easily take down the eldest of the Duck Clan, proving that duck powar doesn't come in threes. As a member of the very first Fire Emblem invasion, Wil's victory here is a matter of duty.

Wil and Wilder can take each other out in two hits. Wil's faster. It's duck hunt time.
