 Rejoice, people of the DL, for the one True Hero has finally returned in your hallowed halls! But... oh, fate, such cruelty! Preying upon a True Hero's one weakness in the form of a little girl! But non! A True Hero must not waver in his duty! If Rafa must fall for the True Hero to move on and grace the DL with his presence even more, then Rafa will fall! With the Hero set that gallantly strikes his opponent's low HP with a high chance for criticals, Pierre's grace is without equal! With the Medalsome technique that brushes away the blemishes upon his fair skin, Pierre's beauty is also without a match! Rafa has no chance, and while it may hurt his sense of honor to do so, the desert rose will be scattered in the winds. May the Beautiful Three advance to victory!

Watching Rafa and Pierre fight each other is like watching a sissy fight or a slapping fest as opposed to an actual match.

As such, the judges eventually get bored and decided to fry them both in a vat of acid. Fortunately for Rafa, Pierre is taller. As they both sailed towards the large pot, his head hits the acid first and thus was declared to be knocked out of commission before she was.

Oh god... oh god help me, I'm actually taking Pierre over Rafa and here's why:
Having "Heaven Magic" as your main form of offense.
I'm sorry but, first of all, Rafa has to charge up for that bunk. Second, even if she survives the charge time, which is likely considering this IS Pierre, her magic has a highly likely chance of not hitting him, but rather casting itself in the somewhat near vicinity.

So yes, the "True Hero" prevails... and we all die a little inside.

P.S. Who was Barinten fooling with Rafa and Malak? He seriously thought he could harness their powers and use it to rule Ivalice. How the hell was he going to do that? By making random Japanese looking characters appear at random and surrounded by colors supposively representing elements? Oh no, Malak might send threatening messages in the form of exploding frogs! Oh no, Rafa might die in one turn! Oh no indeed.

Pierre is going to beat down on Rafa... Pierre has insane Evade if I recall... Rafa will not be hitting the Hero Equiped Pierre.
