Season 32, Week 1
Hrist Valkyrie
(Valkyrie Profile)

What is this, an arrogant mortal who dares to proclaim herself a valkyrie? The folly. Hrist, the eldest of the three sisters who govern fate in Tri-Ace's version of Norse mythology, does not suffer fools gladly, as she will be happy to demonstrate to this upstart magical cavalier from Etruria. While Hrist's own combat ability is often called into question (although these days, the answer is more positive than it used to be), it's pretty much universally agreed that her opponent, known more for healing than combat, is weak enough to lose to the likes of Rufus Shinra. Whether it's a sword or halberd, the blade of Hrist Valkyrie will make short work of this imposter, as Hrist seeks to shrug off the undeserved mockery she has endured in the past, and begin the long march to her new rightful division.

The fairest lady in the deceased Cornwell House rises to the mettle of the arena once again! After a shameful defeat to the ambitious Rufus Shinra and his handsome wiles, the Valkyrie fights... another Valkyrie? Well, isn't that a coincidence? An unfortunate one for Hrist, however, as Priscilla has all the tools to handle the poor, poor weakling that claims to govern fate! With solid evasion, counters and powerful magics to brutalize the inaccurate Valhallan, this match should be quick. As soon as the dust settles from the bombardment of Thunders and Elfires that Priscilla can unleash at will (although one casting may be overkill to Hrist...), the fair lady of Cornwell will accept graciously her victory in the House of Cornwell's name and move towards far more difficult and prestigious ordeals.

Lyndis
The Valkyrie loses. Even against another Valkyrie, the Valkyrie loses. She can't beat even the likes of Jogurt.

Hrist Valkyrie: 32
Priscilla: 45

Dark Lord Magus
Hrist really deserves a new dishonor with the sheer level of suckiness she brings to the table. That dishonor, of course, would be using her name to describe utterly failing. Imagine, being able to simply say "Ha ha, you pulled a hrist" when someone screws up beyond belief. Here's a good example from this week's arena: Serge pulled a total hrist when he tried to fight a character who avoids physical attacks like no tomorrow.
