Season 41, Week 3
Lowen
(Fire Emblem: The Blazing Sword)

He's lean, he's mean, he sports a 'do that would make Derek Zoolander jealous...yes, it's Lowen, back for the RPGDL Light Quarterfinals. After a simple enough win over Tia last round, he faces a rather unlikely opponent, the walking flower Spar. Let's face it, as a flower, Spar won't have what it takes to stand up to a knight, and whips are terrible weapons against armor. And that's not even considering what a blade can do to your average plant. With counter after counter coming Spar's way, be it sword or spear or just trampling it with his horse's hooves, Lowen will be seasoning the banquet at his victory party with Spar-sley.

Spar's opponent is of a higher caliber than the norm - a renowned horseman from the honored lands of Lycia. Unlike the deranged doll Mojo, Lowen has actually a smidge of normalcy and fighting skill to spare, and his Killing Edge strikes could be dangerous. However, Spar himself has tricks under his sleeve: with the healing and buffing granted by nature, Spar will reach the needed sturdiness to outlast this pesky knight, and Freeze castings will keep Lowen at bay in the meantime. This won't be nearly as trivial as exorcising a voodoo doll, but Spar's nature blessings are far from exhausted on this difficult road.

Gatewalker
Spar, for all his...er...'power'...is really little more then a walking talking vegetable.

Lowen is a cook in knight's clothing who is so obsessed with proper nutrition and dining that he will stop to whip out a full picnic in the middle of a pitched battle.

Spar is a very large walking, talking, and rather unique vegetable.

Lowen has been running out of new recipes lately.

Do I really need to finish this line of thinking for you, or can you get where this is going?
