Balbaroy's accustomed to soaring high, but he's finally reaching new heights after his first win in the DL. However, it may do him well to stay grounded and not let it go to his head. He now faces Stallion, a man reputed to be the fastest in his entire world, and with a True Rune of speed to boot. Well, Balbaroy's seen the speed comparisons between him and the ninja girl from the same world, and Balbaroy isn't impressed! Balbaroy is a seasoned fighter, while Stallion...can run. In strength, experience and cunning, it's not much of a contest. Stallion may be able to run fast, but Balbaroy will teach him what it really means to fly. |

Stallion is THE WIND! And that should help him against this airborne foe. Balbaroy has flight and some speed at his side, which could scare a few earthbound losers here and there. But Stallion is the god of sprinting! With his speed and trusty bow and arrow forged in elven lands, the nosy elf has exactly everything he needs to put down this chirping nobody! Being able to hit Balbaroy's terrible constitution from a distance, mocking the bird soldier's limited movement, in addition to the advantage of his unmatched quickness, Stallion will put down this pathetic loser in an instant! No birds shall mess around while Stallion's in the prowl! |
Gatewalker Stallion, at his core, is a generic fantasy elf with a large nose and the ability to run really, really, really fast. Balbaroy, at his core, is a really big bird. Generic fantasy elves are master hunters. Birds, even large ones, are things that tend to get hunted. Can we see where this is going? Balbaroy saw it too, and decided to take a gamble on a kamikaze dive as soon as the bell rang, knowing that he was at a disadvantage in the battle of archetypes. There was still a problem with this tactic though. He went for a divebomb against someone who is really, really, really fast. Needless to say, he never connected. Well, he did connect, just not with Stallion. They're still trying to pry his beak out of the floor. Balbaroy: 12 |
