The original master of the darker side of Final Fantasy magic is back this week after making short work of Solt; now it's time to teach this pitiful "summoner" a thing or two about the limitless power of Black Magic! Black Wizard has superior damage and speed to his foe this week, and also boasts his usual lineup of deadly status spells. Tim can scrape together some defense against Black Wizard's death magic, not that it matters. BW can and will just fall back on his Break spell to status this child out with the barest of efforts. It isn't like Tim has the physical damage needed to scare Black Wizard, and it sure as hell isn't likely that he'll live long enough to even get his summons in play with BW's cursed incantations working Tim over.

The powers Tim Rhymeless draws from Filgaia's Guardians may not fully translate into the dueling arena, but when he’s facing such a foe as Black Wizard, it may not matter. After all, Mr. Pointy Hat is famed for having instant death of far more types than could ever be reasonably necessary, but little else; Tim is famed for variety of a spells, many of which often don’t serve him very well. Thanatos X’s protection from death magic is normally pretty useless for a Light dueller, but it should stop XXX, Death, Scourge, Break and Kill. With the Black Wizard falling back to lesser, inaccurate status, Tim’s Bold Lance should win the day. And if only to further embarrass Black Wizard, Tim may even outspeed him on top of it.
