Season 14, Week 2
Thomas
(Suikoden III)

Budehuc Castle's soldiers have seen much DL success recently, and now it's time for their Lord and Master to continue the streak. Thomas isn't the fighter his comrades are, but his one notable strength should make this battle easy. Highly skilled in Repel and Parry, Thomas can reach a level of physical evasion rarely seen in RPGs. His opponent being a none too durable physical fighter, Thomas should easily clinch a win against his centaur opponent and secure yet another win for the forces of Budehuc.

The master of Budehuc Castle is in possession of one of Light's best evasion games. Fortunately for May, that's about all he has. As long as Mae keeps a few steps ahead of Thomas as she aims and fires with her bow, Thomas cannot hurt her. With enough defense to survive a few attacks, May can afford to pick her shots carefully, relying on accuracy to overcome his evasion. As long as she doesn't get cornered, she's got a great chance at winning - and bringing Cecile to tears once again.

Unfortunatly for May, as she entered the arena, the first words she heard were "Presenting the Tenkai Star himself...".

May, having lived a rather sheltered and ditzy life, had made a simple, and often made, error. Namely, that all Tenkai Stars are Godlike material.

Therefore, it's hardly unnatural that she was seen galloping away from the arena, leaving a utterly puzzled, but victorious, Thomas.
