Many seasons ago, one sword-wielding frog proved he worthy of more than Light. Sadly for Jean, that frog was not him, and the Prince of Simafort has instead been met only with setbacks in the division some would claim him too good for. Not that the happy-go-lucky artist is going to be put off by his history as he takes to the arena again this week. Jean's first fight this season is against the Berserker Hawkeye, and he holds several key advantages. His surprisingly good defence for a frog, combined with his being a swordsman, will give his opponent fits, but it's his highly accurate and devastating Death spell that will ensure those fits won't last long. Could Jean finally be on his way to proving that no frog belongs in Light? |

The mighty Hawkeye faces a character quite unlike himself this week, as he challenges the frog prince Jean. The difference in species should be advantage for Hawkeye, as frogs generally tend to be inferior to humans on the field of battle. As a strong, silent type of character, Hawkeye's personality also contrasts sharply with Jean's happy-go-lucky demeanor, creating yet another advantage for Hawkeye, whose determination in battle should outdo Jean's general airheadedness. The one area the two are similar in, speed, is for once an advantage for Hawkeye, as he challenges an opponent even slower than him. As long as the he avoids Jean's death spell, Hawkeye should easily come out on top in his first RPGDL fight. |
