What is this? Some fool of a sorcerer thinks he can match Shady Thousand? ... well, in truth, many can match Shady Thousand. He's not the strongest or most durable of kitties. But he's still more than this frail magician can handle. Lezard's durability is bad by Puny standards, and Shady's trademark Baking and Blizzard Breath attacks ignore his one trick, Reflect Sorcery. And while Shady might not have many other attacks, he's both swift and magically resistant - just the combination to put this upstart down once and for all! It won't be an easy fight, and all the Lights who are actually good will probably try and pretend it doesn't even exist, but that doesn't mean Shady won't win! After all, if he doesn't, he'll never be able to show his face in front of Alfred...who wants to have fewer wins than the weakest Schroedinger?

So, they've sent a cat to do what even the gods could not? To defeat Lezard Valeth? Ha! Trifles like quantum physics are no match for the might of a true sorceror, let alone one who has absorbed the raw power and untold wisdom of the Philosopher's Stone. At any other time it might be interesting to...experiment a little, but alas, we must remain focused, and go for the kill. Lezard hasn't yet met a cat who can survive Meteor Swarm, and Shady will be no exception. For too long Lezard has languished in Light, far away from the beauty that calls to him like a moth to flame. Yes, Lezard's triumphant return to Godlike shall begin this day, even if all the might of Asgard should oppose him! Of course, if that did happen, it wouldn't be without its benefits...any pain is more than bearable as the cost of a glimpse of the Valkyrie, after all.

It appears that those who don't learn from history are bound to repeat it. Thus the tragic case of Shady. Like a certain army of sailor scouts, or a snarling Hrist, people often take Lezard as a lightweight, and as a easy win. Shady certainly was saying as much, all under the watchful gaze of Lezard's Philsopher's stone. When the demented sorcerer heard all this, he stopped laughing.
The brutal series of spells that struck and utterly destroyed the Schroedinger area and all inside was a mystery. Who could wield such damningly poweful magics without so much as revealing himself to the countless archmagi who made their home in the DL? Who could be as spiteful and mean as to wipe out an entire area, without mercy or concern for loss of life?
Lezard was later seen sitting quietly in his room, studying. It was said that the Flensberg mage had the smallest of smiles on his face, and only broke his studying to look in the direction of the carnage..
Shady Thousand: 41
Lezard Valeth: 53

I think the biggest mismatch here is Shady and Lezard. You see, Lezard wields powerful magics.

I expect Shady to beat Lezard. This hurts me on so many levels that I go to weep in the corner.
