After a strong showing in Not Ranked, Bernadette Egan, owner of the sharpest eyebrows in the DL, finally makes her formal appearance in the arena. Her first opponent is Shining Force's resident draconian, Bleu. That might sound intimidating, as dragons account for more than a couple of the DL's past Godlike champs, but fortunately Bleu's just a baby - literally. Bernadette has little to fear from his attacks and has more than enough recovery magic to endure a drawn-out slugfest. For Obel and the Island Nations, Bernadette will strike the beast from the sky. |

With various types of monster inhabiting the DL in the various divisions, it’s somewhat of a surprise that a white dragon like Bleu isn’t in a higher division. There are ducks and dogs fighting among the elite, so why not Bleu?! Now is the time for him to march into the Arena and seize a victory for his fellow dragons! His first obstacle is Bernadette Egan, but she shouldn’t be any problem! Her low-damage, knife-throwing strategy won’t effective against Bleu’s lightning breath. After a couple of blasts, Bernadette will be fried and Bleu will be in the second round. |
SageAcrin Bleu fought ferociously. His rending fangs, his tearing claws, his burning breath, all turned towards the foolish girl who dared oppose him. Yes, his fans were cheering him on, young girls all, and he would not let them down! --- "...Shana, how did you manage to get a microphone that hooks into the stadium loudspeakers?" Dart asked curiously. "I just asked." "Did you lean very far over?" "Um...GO BLEU!" Shana yelled into the microphone. "Poor dragon. He seems to be fighting a lot better than usual, thinking he has fans. Oh well." Albert said, watching Bernadett heal yet again. "Pity he still can't fight that well."
