Season 44, Week 3
Rafa Galthana
(Final Fantasy Tactics)

See? See? See what happened there?! Rafa can assassinate powerful figures after all! She overcame the limits of her haphazard Truth magic to deliver a crushing win against Chongara! With a potent summoner down, Rafa's path to glory has become that much clearer, and she shall follow with zeal and pride. Now, she has to deal with some washed up old pirate. This is a step down, so Rafa's patterns should hold true. She's gonna come in wearing Earth Clothes and a smile. You know why? Oh sure, Fargo'll do cutting, slashing and all that to Rafa. But each time she casts Sky Demon, big ol' Earth hits are going to rock the house. Whenever it hits Fargo he's gonna cry and whenever it hits Rafa, she's gonna heal. How can some pirate compete with that?

Arrrrrrr, matey! Fargo the pirate arrives for another go at duelling glory, his sword in hand and his mighty blow whistle for a call from the Invincible when need arrives! And, when a championship's on the line, he's not afraid to crush dumb wimpy girls or pathetic waifs! He dealt with the former last week and shall curbstomp the latter this time, as Rafa Galthana's powers are about as impressive as a landlubber parrot with a broken wing. Her pseudo-parasitic healing trick is hardly helping her against Fargo's sharp sword and mighty muscles, and all he needs to land a decisive blow is to whistle for the aid of his mighty ship. A cannonball barrage from the Invincible should brutalize that Rafa sap in no time flat, stupid Sky Demon pseudo-parasitic healing gimmick be damned!

Fargo isn't exactly the most ethical of duelists. Rafa is a woman with a traumatic past, who still is recovering from all the details therein.

"...so you beat 'er in an 'onest fight, Fargo? Gettin' a wee bit soft in ya old age?" Kid asked with a snigger.

Fargo looked at Kid steadily for a moment. "And what would have happened if I dressed up like Barinten?"

"You'd have scared that bird straight outta the arena, that's what!" Kid laughed.

"And invited the wrath of Malak."

"Yeah, and who fears Mala-"

"And Ramza."

"...Oh."

"And, by extension, Agrias, Meliadoul, maybe Delita, Orlandu, Worker 8, Beowulf, Reis..."

"Okay okay okay I get your point already! Sheesh. Coulda just said it was a bad idea..."
