Some people may say that a lowly fisherman isn't enough to take down a dragon... but there are some facts you should reconsider... Both dragons and fish have scales, and fishermen are very adept at removing said scales. With spear in hand, Yam Koo also wields the weapon with perfect mythological history for dragon slaying. Really, it's the small details like this that add up to a win. Yam Koo isn't about to let himself be dragon fodder, but instead discover just how well dragon stands up as fish bait.

Well, well, well. Look what got dragged into the Arena today - some Suikochump named Yam Koo who thinks he knows his way around a spear. Whatever. It's not like Reis will run out of fiery breath to incinerate him with, or freezing breath to cryogenically store him for future Suikoden failures to sit and stare in wonder at. Hey, if she's feeling boisterous, she can even spit holy breath at him - not likely to hit, no, but why should she care? He's a Suikoscrub. Nothing worth mentioning. Good warmup for Reis, though, it seems.
