She may be Light's vainest contestant, but don't let Melody's looks or haughty attitude fool in the arena. When it comes down to fighting, she can brawl with the best of them. At least, she can brawl with the best of them in Light! After all, her barrier cuts off a solid chunk of damage, especially against opponents that don't have much of it. And while her Eliminate Scanner may not be the most dangerous attack around, with the Prophet's speed advantage and poison counters, she should be able to take Oulan down despite the amazonesque warrior's excellent defenses!

Oulan has been training and training hard for the moment she hit the arena again. When you devote that kinda time to training, you're typically not spending your time on your appearance. Not that Oulan could care anyway. However, Melody is the exact opposite, fancying herself as quite the looker... and what's the best way to ruin those supposed good looks? The raw power of fists meeting face! Oulan will have to deal with some poison afterward, but no matter what kind of barrier is in place, Melody will be going down hard to the furious punches of the fearsome quasi-Amazon.
