Season 13, Week 2
Mojo
(Chrono Cross)

As a member of the Second Chrono Cross Invasion, Mojo is looking forward to claiming a victim from a cast even larger than his own. While its clear that Mojo lacks offense, there is one thing this messenger of love and happiness has in his favor: massive evade! Rhett is purely physical - as well as known for his inaccuracy - and Mojo is quite good at dodging. This should give him plenty of time to wear down his fowl opposition. As long as he is able to avoid being hit with Rhett’s devastating axe, there is no doubt Mojo will secure a victory for the forces of the invasion.

Rhett is no doubt having nightmarish flashbacks from his previous loss. He has no interest in another match with an evasive opponent, the same as Kimahri, the foe who put an end to his last title run. However, good evasion is all Mojo has, and even that is somewhat lacking. Rhett won't hit often, but when he does it will be very fast and very hard. Since it's highly unlikely that the warrior formerly known as Lucky Dan will be able to strike back even half as well, Rhett's chances of winning this match are very good. Certainly much better than he himself would ever estimate!

The Axeman
Rhett entered the arena, and couldn't find anything that looked like an opponent. Rather, there were no people or kobolds or ducks about, just a big straw doll with a giant pin stuck through the center.

Rhett sat down and cracked out a tub of icecream, setting down his duck halbert, a long axe shaped like a fish. He was ready to take his first bite, when suddenly, the large doll came to life!

"What-om are you doing-om? We are-om supposed to be fighting."

Rhett slowly sat down his icecream and picked up his weapon. "You're Mojo?"

"That's-om right!"

Rhett backed off a step or two. "And are you some kind of a strong fighter, or powerful mage?"

"Nope-om! But I'm lucky! Lucky lucky lucky!" The doll did a happy little dance around the arena.

Rhett hit it in the face with his axe really hard.

MORAL OF THE STORY: Being lucky is one way to get ahead in life, but it's hard to argue with an axe to the face.
