A quiet girl with the weight of a country on her shoulders isn't a new thing in the DL, but Lyonesse has never wanted to be a trailblazer. She simply intends to prove, as she did with her leadership, that writing her off as a lightweight is a grave mistake. Tao looks to be the first to pay this price. With magic defense and status resistance that's rivaled by none in Brigandine, Leonia's queen can turn Tao's normally burning magic into mere singes, while her own Divine Ray slices right through Tao's poor supply of HP. |

As one of the stronger offensive mages in Shining Force, Tao is used to powering her way through her opposition, something she may very well do so again this week against Lyonesse. Blaze 4 is a devastating spell, and it could easily shred through the Leonia leader's vaunted defense and low HP. If that fails, Tao is also surprisingly strong physically. As a last resort, her Sleep spell could seal a victory if it hits. However she decides to go at it though, Tao will be on the offensive from the beginning of this match to the end. |
superaielman Lyonesse may be a quiet girl, but she isn't a fool. As such, bringing her Phoneix along with her to the ring was both a brilliant move, and a really, really bad break for Tao. Poor Tao. Maybe next time you'll get a better draw. Lyonesse: 13 |
