Season 17, Week 4
Izlude Tingel
(Final Fantasy Tactics)

Having done his part to halt the Fire Emblem invasion in Middle, the Knight Blade now faces a far more sinister force. The Fiend of Earth's deathly visage is enough to make most mortal men tremble, but Izlude Tingel has faced down a far greater evil, and has no reason to fear a mere undead. Another cause to give Izlude courage is his immunity to all his foe's status tricks, forcing Lich to rely on his comparatively unimpressive elemental magics. With his superior speed and power, as well as the option of Mind Break to further ruin his opponent's damage, the Middle finals are finally within reach for the bearer of the Pisces Zodiac Stone.

Divine protection is no measure of safety against the twisted Lich, as his savage beating of Lucia proved last week. Now that his mastery over the divine and common is proven, the Fiend of Earth sets his sight on a simple warrior. A Knight Blade with a blade vested in shadows, Izlude has none of the moral and mental strength needed to stand up to Lich's deadly array of killing spells, and the Earth Fiend's ghostly defenses render even Izlude's harshest blows mere taps. The Shrine Knight has fallen to the powers of evil before, and Lich looks to make Izlude's blade fall into darkness once again.

Izlude had once before fallen to the evils that reside beyond the mortal world. But despite that, he was returned, still whole in morals and virtues. Still a warrior both of the people and of the Church. And here before him stood a Lich, an abomination of St. Ajora's holy word. Before, it was his own father that had struck him down, and his movements had been sluggish. But now, he owed nothing to this monstrosity, and his movements were sure.

With a prayer on his lips, and his blade and shield in hand, Izlude lept into the frey, this time showing his true worth, and letting all know that those of dark descent hold no power over those whose faith knows no doubt.

People might like lich, but in the means of who would win, Izlude Tingel will beat him. He's faster, so he hits hard and fast with Mind Break, and everything goes from their. Heck, he could use the chemist's items and X-Potion himself, or Use it on Lich ;)
