Knowing that preparation is the key to any duel, Beowulf be gearing up carefully for his fight with Philia. A Rune Blade boosts the hit-rate his already accurate statuses, and an Aegis Shield both boosts his spell slinging ability and his evasion against Philia's punishing magics. A White Robe nerfs the priestess's best damage, and a few uses of Break will set Philia's less than imposing looks into stone, a grim warning to the rest of middle about crossing blades with Beowulf Kadmus.

Philia is confident coming into this match; while she is an exalted Temple Priestess, Beowulf is a lowly Shrine Knight, nothing more than an exalted guard. Beowulf may have his deadly status magic, but Philia has the godly power of Clemente, the eternal swordian forged in the fires of the Aether War. Surely Beowulf’s mundane status spells cannot outshine up to the godly might of Philia’s Divine Wrath. Within a few castings of her most powerful spell, the sluggish Beowulf shall fall.

Unfortunately, with two castings of Chicken, even the most courageous warrior ends up a terrified fowl running for the corner of the battlefield.
Even more unfortunately, artificial boundaries like a ring have little to no impact upon the mind of a frightened bird.
And, most unfortunately of all, without Destroyer or Megalith, Philia isn't quite up to a one-hit kill, and doesn't have the speed to get in that second casting.
Beowulf Kadmus: 33
Philia Felice: 9
