The beautiful Admiral of Toran has already seen a fellow Suiko-world swordsman fall to the sorceress Taya, so the question is... can she succeed where her northern colleague Camus failed? Sonya has excellent HP and Magic Defence (like all her stats), so the odds of her surviving even Taya's Atlas summon are quite good. From there on in, all the general needs to do is heal until Taya runs out of MP... at which point a quick physical or two will end this battle, given Taya's terrible durability. |

Taya is using a very simple tactic to win this. Atlas, Atlas, and more Atlas. If she doesn't get a OHKO, she loses, as Sonya has far more healing than Taya has uses of Atlas. Her own bad defense means that Sonya's physical slashes will make short work of her. |

Which means that you have a level 1 spell in a game with the most spell charges in the series, against the most expensive spell in its game.
