Lenneth's favorite Einhererjar continues his smiting of Middle this week, winding up against a more popular victim than the last! Cid's specialty is high-damage limits, which Lucian can easily avoid by controlling his number of attacks - and then blasting through the old potty mouth's limit range with a PWS. Since Lucian goes first and can take a hit, Cid had better figuring out what kind of punishment swearing gets you in the afterlife.

@#$%ing gods. Always getting in a man's way. Cid's not in the mood to be held back by such an annoying creature, so it's a good thing Lucian's no tougher than the average foe, in spite of his impressive pedigree. The Venus Gospel's excellent edge and fine stabbing abilities are just the thing to weaken Lucian, and any one of Cid's innumerable limits will make even an Einherjar take notice - right before they're taken out.

Lucian's Shining Bolt is like a Limit Break; hits many times and in the words of Cid, deals a $#&@ high amount of damage.
Yet despite the resemblance, it is NOT a limit break. It's better, as Lucian can use it whenever he damn well pleases and as many times as he wants over the course of battle.
Cid's Limit Break can only be used if Lucian hits him into it.
I sense a mismatch.
Lucian: 57
Cid Highwind: 34
metroid composite
Cid has weapon triangle advantage on Lucian! Unfortunately for him, neither he nor Lucian is a Fire Emblem character, and Lucian takes this without too much trouble.
