Middle's hardest hitting swordsman is facing a true test of his offense this week. His foe, the half-elf Jerin, can fully heal herself and has a definite speed advantage over the young Einherjar. Lucian will have to kill her in one turn to claim a Middle title for his mistress' glory. But with the ability to use his PWS every round, he will have no trouble. Shining Bolt and Round Rip Saber together make for an agonizing combination, after all, and Lucian has had no issues abusing it to victory after victory in the past. That he might inflict stun with his attack and make his opponent incapable of healing is merely a bonus. Lucian is taking a trophy for the honor of his love, and no little girl shall stop him. |

Jerin fully intends to take a Middle championship this season. This won't be a difficult task at all for the half-elf, as her opponent lacks the ability to make any damage stick. Jerin actually takes physical damage quite well, which means that Lucian can't quite manage to kill her in one turn with his attacks. That dooms the slower Einherjar, as Jerin has only to heal away his attacks and blast him with her magic on her frequent double-turns. And unlike the foes in Lucian’s game, Jerin doesn’t get stunned by physical attacks. Since the blonde prettyboy has no way to get around this simple strategy, Jerin is set to take home a championship that she can rub in Lufia's face with impunity. |
Pyro Round Rip Saber! Champion! Round Rip Saber! Champion! Round Rip Saber! Champion! Vulcan! Round Rip Saber! Champion! ... Lucian deals more damage, but Jerin takes home the trophy after a long, grueling, ugly match. Ironic that Jerin's spell 'Champion' brings her a championship. In other news, Lucian has been heard shouting "No more spousal abuse!" loudly at random. Looks like he took the wrong lesson from these finals. Also looks like he'll be getting a beating from the flat side of the Glance Reviver, as he isn't a mage and that isn't a spell. Lucian: 29 |
