It's been a long, disheartening 19 seasons, but Roan Cyrum, the diminuitive king of Cyrum, is back and ready to avenge his downgrade all the way back in Season Eleven. His opening match won't pose any problems - Salome isn't exactly known for being the most punishing of fighters. While his water rune will keep him going for a while, it will avail him not in the end - Roan's constant assault will be more than the poor strategist can handle, keeping up the pressure with little effort. With a casting of WOW! from his Brave Dirk, Roan can turn his True Dragon Rise attack into a truly devastating assault, far more than Salome will be able to handle or heal back. |

A strategist of Salome's caliber is bound to be confident at a time like this. To be sure, the young king of Cyrum is a skilled warrior, far more formidable than his few years might suggest. And certainly, True Dragon Rise is not a battle skill to take lightly. However, Salome knows two things: that Roan's ability to use that technique is badly limited, and that with judicious use of his Water Rune, Salome is fully able to push Roan to that limit. And once that happens, Salome's skill with a mace will serve him significantly better than Roan's basic dagger techniques, allowing the Knights of Zexen to continue their winning ways in the Duelling League. |
superaielman It's Season XXX fanservice for the ladies this week, as the young king of Cyrum matches skills and wits with the older, seasoned Salome. To appease the ladies, the two veterans chose to battle in a mudpit, only wearing swimsuits. It was truly epic. Roan covered the field with Ice Prison, only to see his effects undone by Salome's water rune. It turned into a hell of a mess, made all the worse by Salome opting to wear a white bathing suit. Of course, it was ruined when Shana came running into the ring, crying about abusing innocent men for their bodies. She was promptly destroyed by a combined assault from Edea, Ultimecia, Lucca, Etna, Queen Zeal, Emelia, Karen, and a very pissed off Neifirst. Roan had already ran out of SP, and the sight of Salome advancing in nothing but a clear bathing suit snapped his mind. He was seen running screaming from the arena. Salome was offered a dozen dates and three marriage proposals after the match. It was remarked later that Chris knew how to choose well armed men for her personal group of knights. Roan: 30 |
