If there's anything Suikoden is lacking in, it's unplacatable old men like Adray. Well, there is Maximillian, but still, Tengaar's bound to be a little flatfooted going into this fight due to going up against a new type of opponent - but of course, the ever resourceful maiden will rise above that quickly enough, and after that winning the fight itself will be a simple matter for her. The protective spells of her Earth Rune are an all-but-impossible nut for this feeble old man to crack, and Earthquake is a devestating spell regardless of how much training you put yourself through, guaranteed to smash through any defenses he could hope to throw up and take him out with ease. Nope, this match between mages of much mastery will be, quite amusingly, as easy as smacking around Hix, and Tengaar can sure as hell handle that sort of duty.

The aged swordsman-symbologist Adray Lasbard picked a great season to return to the RPGDL arena. While there aren't many potential husbands for his surprisingly single daughter Claire, perhaps he can find a new wife for himself in his battles around Middle - unfortunately, Tengaar's definitely not his type, and so a fight it is! Speed is the only advantage Tengaar has; with nearly unlimited healing, Reflection to reduce Tengaar's Earthquake to nothing more than pebbles, and the terrifying Spicule to tear apart Tengaar's magic reserves and physical durability, the match is in the bag. Even Tengaar's Revenger Earth will avail her not, as Adray can get around such parlor tricks with a casting of Southern Cross. All this, for his daughter Claire - as he strides forth to find her a worthy husband in the aptly-named Season XXX!

The victor of this match was to present their dominance by spanking the loser 50 times. Both sides agreed, neither side came out disappointed with the results.
"Somebody's been a bad bad boy. Somebody's been a bad bad boy."
The theme music Adray chose for his game over theme was Christmas Song ding Dong, by Gunther.
Tengaar: 47
Adray Lasbard: 40

Ahhh Adray, a generic man's man in a kilt, he simply has too many advantages against Tangaar, who in Suikoden struggles to get past level 60, while in Star Ocean 255 levels there are. Adray proves himself with his superior magical abilities and katanas, which he doesnt bother to unsheath, for someone from a 17th century civilization he can sure hold his own in the 4th dimention, the same cant be said of Tangaar.
