Season 37, Week 2
Scythe Riebauer
(Wild ARMs 4)

Life's tough for a Crimson Noble, especially one that everyone seems to lfrown upon. Do these pathetic mortals doubt Scythe's power, or is it jealousy of his beautiful, docile lover? Pah, no matter. They will soon learn the error of their ways - starting with this foolish fire mage from Falena! Certainly, Scythe may have lost to Killey a few seasons back, but Lun's skill with fire is but a pale shadow of Killey's mastery of the Rage Rune. Shrugging off a weak Explosion will be easy even for one as frail - er, that is, indestructable - as this Brionac officer. And after that, Scythe will have the delectable choice between killing Lun with the five Blast spells he is likely to get off before her second turn, or - his preferred method - simply sucking away all her energy in one go. It's time for Scythe to be more than "the guy with the psychotic Godlike girlfriend" and show Middle his true power!

Having helped fight in a civil war and earning the distinction of being the first female Dragon Knight, Lun is definitely more accomplished than your average spiky-haired swordfighter. With Falena finally settling down, she's been looking for ways to pad her achievements - and claiming a RPGDL Middle championship is definitely not a bad option. Her first stepping stone is definitely not a threat - just an easily duped, delusional blood drinker. Lun, sporting hefty natural magical resistances, shall easily laugh off Scythe's pitiful Blast spells, and her Fire Rune can definitely add the extra punch that she needs for this ball-lightning fight. Most importantly, with the quick wits honed by years of surviving her father's harebrained schemes, it'll be no problem for Lun to put yet another member of the nobility in their rightful place.

A Crimson Noble.

A beautiful girl.

There was only one way this could turn out. Obviously.

---

Lun grinned.

It had nearly broken her arm, would put her thousands upon thousands of Potch in debt, came close to killing her more times than she could count, would probably get her in trouble for operating a vehicle without proper license-not to mention theft, thousands of counts of reckless endangerment and possibly kidnapping-and had cost her the match.

But Scythe's scream of "What the hell am I supposed to-" had made it all worth it, as she violently and painfully crashed Balamb Garden into him.
