Season 40, Week 2
Dart
(Fire Emblem: The Blazing Sword)

Avast, ye scurvy dogs, the terror of the seven seas is back to pillage and plunder his way through Middle, and no wench is going to stop him! That's right, it's time for a one-on-one between the Berserker Dart and Sara, who's essentially a generic healer. Yeah, that's going to end really well for her. She can heal all she wants, but with his supreme strength and heavy axes, Dart only needs a single blow to end this fight. And thanks to his Berserker critical rate, that clean strike will happen sooner rather then later, especially if he arms himself with a Killer Axe. And to make matters even more bleak for the generic cleric, anytime she does try to attack, Dart will counter with a far more powerful attack of his own, complete with its own chance to critical and end this sad excuse for a match.

Sara's been quietly waiting for her chance in the Duelling League to come at last. Silently baking, preparing sweet goods, living her life. And, finally, this is the time to bring out the tools of war! Sara's seemingly average simplicity as a fighter and generic ninja/healer spellcasting antics were a fine facade for her silent and overwhelming plans, but the time for shrouds and inaction is over! Sara will reveal to the world her true power and agenda, and a Middle championship will be the first step! This dimwitted pirate, this...Dart, will be a fine stepping-stone for her ambitions, and he will fall prey to her ninja's dexterity and strength! Once he's down, Sara's plans will smoothly slide into a perfect pattern... and then, her true intentions will be revealed! The world is not enough!

How does a Priest compare to a Pirate in battle? Well, lets find out!

Pirates are well built physically, having to do hard manual labor on their ships, and swabbing the decks and all that other pirate stuff. Plus they fight off rival pirates, stupid royal navies, among other things. Oh, they often carry bit scary sharp weapons, in Dart's Case, a large Axe. Also, pirates are known to have no morals.

Priests sit around all day praying. Occasionally, they'll get up and socialize. They also are about as morally set as you can get...so long as they aren't priests of the token evil Religion that RPGs often, but Sara in this case is not. For weapons, they like staves.

I don't think the fight of Priest vs. Pirate is as epic as people make it out to be frankly...if anyone ever HAS tried to, anyway.

Sure, Sara may have six inch claws, a myriad of mystical powers, and ten different kinds of leet-fu, while Dart just hits things. But no matter how much you jump about and wave your hands around, you just can't beat a good ol' fashioned axe to the face.
