Rising from the ashes of his shattered DL reputation is none other than the DL's resident Phoneix. Peter's bright plumage and cheerful personality did little to hide his sad DL record- two losses, one downgrade, no victories. Ouch. This season has been a rebirth of the successful fighter than Bowie and his friends knew and loved from their battle against Zeon's minions, with two impressive wins and the promise of a championship. Battling a smarmy child isn't as heroic as standing toe to toe with a Greater Devil, nor as exhilarating, but it'll suffice in fueling Peter's meteoric rise back to the top of Dueling League superstardom. Lute herself is barely worth talking about, honestly; the girl is easily smited by a pair of Peter's physical attacks, and her best spells are halved by his innate resistance to fire. Nothing Lute has can do much more than slow down Peter's assault. The fires of victory are all consuming, and soon Lute will be the next to be burned to ash by the touch of the Phoenix.

A talking bird? A talking bird capable of self-resurrection, at that?! This creature simply HAS to be studied; who knows what applications its special powers might have to the staff magic of Magvel? But first it will have to be captured, lest it be distracted by some nonsense about a Middle championship. What a bother! Luckilly for science, Lute is just the one to handle this - both the capturing of the phoenix and the study of it. After all, she IS a prodigy, you know. This creature, which quaintly refers to itself as "Peter", may boast a resistance to the fire element, but Lute has many talents, and her studies have shown that both thunder- and light-elemental tomes will work to full effect against the bird. With her superior agility, she will certainly get the first strike and may even be able to dodge the bird's attacks, which will let her devastating thunder spells work their, well, magic. Indeed, this will be an easy task for Lute. The chance of failure? Statistically insignifcant!
