Alert Mensa! A true clash of the mental titans is about to occur in the arena this week! In one corner, we have Xenogears' very own Bart, stupid enough to try to blow up his allies! In the other corner, hailing from the Lufia world, we have one of the most renowned people in the field, Dekar! Stupid enough to forget how to lose! This battle, we'Whip against sword, deathblow against Ikari Point attacks, evasion buffs and excellent accuracy against…well, actually, Dekar doesn’t have anything that can really stand up against the might of White Cologne and Wild Smile. And since Bart goes first, he’ll be near unhittable before Dekar even gets a chance to attack in this stupidity slugfest. And if you see Ikari Point type attacks ignoring evade, Bart can still build up to a 28 AP combo, boost his power, and unleash havoc on a double turn. Bart is sure to teach Dekar a refresher course in the pain of defeat this week, even if he has to open up Dekar's skull first!

"Strong as an ox and half as smart." No, Dekar isn't Lu Bu... but he's as renowned as any warrior to ever cross the DL's footsteps. His inhuman physical strength and toughness to all types of offense is known by all, as is his general lack of book smarts. What isn't lacking upstairs is Dekar's ability to relate to people and figure out what makes them tick- in this case, figuring out the hotheaded Bart won't strain Dekar's mental facilities much. He relies on Wild Smile and evasion to outlast his foe. How worthless. No mere accuracy reducing skill can slow down Dekar much. Bart's inept offense won't do much more than make Dekar smirk and heal with his Metal Mail armor- and build up his offense for a single, brutal blow from whatever weapon he opts to use. The Gladius, for its triple damage Holy Energy skill? Or his patented Dekar Blade, with a brutal Fatal Blow that will slice Bart's life in half? All questions that will be answered shortly, much to Bart's dismay.
