Guns a-blazing, Lin is determined to fight her way out of the hell hole that is Middle, and now all that’s stopping her is one pesky old lady. Well, while the wrath of the elderly might not be the most fearsome thing to face down in the arena, Lin is still going to pull out all the stops. Lin’s physical death combos, which she can use twice in a round and can inflict the status even if the damage is evaded, should excel at getting past Eileen’s Copper Flash as well as her magic defense, and if she can get her paws of a Bari Bangle, she can even halve Eileen’s damage at the cost of some AP that Lin can afford to spare, further sealing Eileen’s fate. |

Some would call it a bit past time for the elegant first lady of Toran to make an appearance in the middle finals, but Eileen has always been the patient sort. However, that doesn't mean she's going to go easy on her opponent now that she's finally here. Amusingly, Eileen shouldn't even need her ever handy Copper Flesh spell to take this match. Having a notable speed edge over the somewhat sluggish Lin will be all she needs to put the catgirl away with a pair of devastating Earthquakes before she can get more then a single good shot in. Of course, she still has Copper Flesh should she need it, making this one very lopsided match. |
Taishyr "Look, I'm telling you it won't work!" "Sure it will. Trust me, you don't stand a chance." "Okay. Fine. Look, we'll test it on myself, okay?" Lin glared at Eileen, who smiled beatifically. "If that is your wish, then." And thus did Eileen cast Copper Flesh on Lin right in the middle of the match. Lin dutifully attempted to instantly kill herself. "Well, that didn't work." Lin shrugged. Eileen was amused. "See? Told you I would wi-" And then Lin nailed Eileen with a second salvo of bullets. LESSON: Copper Flesh is all well and good but it's hard to argue losing a match when you just buffed your opponent. Wait, what? Lin: 21 |
