After a short but refreshing break, Rudy Roughknight makes his way back to the RPGDL Arena! Not a moment too soon, as he's been spending an inordinate amount of time with fellow humanoid robot Aigis. Rudy's opponent Rena is no stranger to wierd alien weaponry, so the shock won't kill her... but the bullets might! Her attempts to silence Rudy's robotic self will prove fruitless, as he can use his extensive arsenal of firearms even with that normally debilitating status. The perks of being a silent main, huh? On his end, his Arc Smash and his ever trusty Phazer will help him carry the day against Rena's supremely average defenses. As so many sci-fi movies prove, there's nothing like a little ancient technology to score a quick, decisive win. |

An epic test between a space elf and a Western homunculus cyborg will be settled by a question perhaps best known to lonely cowboys: does it matter if you talk to your gun? Some swear that if they don't call their shotgun "Martha," it won't fire, while others treat their phaser as a mere genocide tool. Rudy's already a pretty quiet fellow, but he's going to be downright mute once Rena's done with him. A few castings of Silence and even Crono will babble more. Now, will Rudy still find it in him to "perfectly synchronize" with the ARM to fulfill the technobabble requirements of it? Who knows! But Rena intends to find out, and Rudy's sluggish, middling offense gives her leeway. If he's reduced to knives, Rudy will be rather sad. |
rafenud Rena doesn't have a good record dealing with robotic opponents. Sure, she eventually beat God's Ten Wise Men, but it took several tries. She gives it a good shot against Rudy, but all of her attacks do zero damage. Bummer. Rudy Roughknight: 42 |
