Annnnd there we are! The finals! Just one measly hurdle bars Axl's way to that coveted champion title, and oh, what a hurdle it is! Well, not even a gealer is going to stop this gunner! She may be able to render his Stealth Mode ineffective, this Yulie Ahtreide, but honestly, what does it matter? She's pretty much inable to damage Axl! The Maverick Hunter has a solid speed edge, and he's going to use that to pound on Yulie before she can get her buffing games going. Once she's locked into healing herself ad nauseum, all Axl'll have to do is wait for her to run out of resources before shifting into Stealth Mode and finishing her! No way a flimsy girl's going to deny Axl his long-deserved Middle title. |

After fighting her way through the season, Yulie finds... her easiest challenge yet. Axl's power comes from the fact that his Stealth Mode makes him impervious, so most of his opponents can do nothing as his attacks pile up and eventually take them out. Unfortunately for Axl, Yulie has nigh-infinite powerful healing. Meanwhile, Axl is one of the weakest attackers in his game, so the thought of any of Axl's attacks being capable of taking Yulie out is laughable at best, especially with Protect in play. One casting of Quicken will let Yulie run circles around the Reploid, and once Yulie heals her way past Axl's limited shots of Stealth Mode, the poor Maverick Hunter will be in for the beating of his life. |
Sei Meet Axl. Axl is a Maverick Hunter-class Reploid. He can take multiple energy shots, withstand several flying high-velocity shrapnels, and survive in environments of extreme temperatures. Yet the moment he so much as brushes against stationary spikes or lava, he explodes like a pinto. Meet Yulie. Yulie is an ARMs Regulator. She can Material Drive the Guardian programs and control natural phenomena via microscopic ARM devices distributed throughout the land and air. She can, for example, use Code M to submerge an area in lava flows provided there's a Fire Ley Point. Meet the Middle Finals arena. Oh look, there's a Fire Ley Point! Axl, meet lava. Lava, meet Axl. Meet the rapidly expanding cluster of lights. This used to be Axl. Unfortunately, all his experience playing "the floor is lava" in Megaman X games proved fruitless with no platforms nearby. Axl: 4 |
