Knight Blade Izlude Tingel, skilled young warrior and erstwhile bearer of the holy stone Pisces, enters an Arena this week chilled to suit the preferences of his furry foe. Utilizing the same style of combat against the yeti Umaro that served him so well against the thickheaded Knight of Bound, the young Shrine Knight is well prepared for the bout. He'll be sailing through the air and breaking down stats left and right in his battle against the beast, and relying on his hardy health and above-average agility to shield him from the ape's attacks. Umaro's club packs a punch, but he won't be able to harm what he can't even hit!

The sasquatch of the Narshe caves is ready to win his second match of the season this week against the Shrine Knight Izlude. Like every fight Umaro takes part in, there will be no tactics and no altered strategies. Instead, the audience will be treated to the typical assault through both the physical body slams and the magical Storm attacks. Whatever the result, you can expect Umaro to fill this match with plenty of fireworks - even despite his ice-based nature!

Even if Umaro starts with his Ice Storm attack, Izlude will confuse him heavily by jumping out of sight. As Umaro scratches his head, thinking he won as the enemy has dissappeared, Izlude lands on top of him. As Umaro starts swinging his axe, Izlude jumps again, and again Umaro, being as stupid as he is, thinks he wins. Izlude lands, Umaro rages, Izlude jumps, Umaro confused. Repeat until Umaro falls.
Izlude Tingel: 24
Umaro: 7
Dark Holy Elf
Izlude uses Armour Break, destroying Umaro's Snow Muffler. Simple course of action, right? Sadly, Umaro's Snow Muffler doubles as his skin.
What followed wasn't exactly pretty, and certainly isn't appropriate for description to our younger readers, but in the end, it meant Izlude was finally moving on to the semi-finals after two previous failures.

What threat does an unarmored, berserked sasquatch, bereft of his best friend and projectile, pose to a trained knight of Ivalice?
Good question.

:Izlude takes to the air with his trademark jump.
Umaro takes to the jumping target with his bone club.
Long story short, the arena has a new wall hanging, and Umaro gets an easy win.

Umaro went charging, as usual, running at Full Speed. Izlude Sighed, jumped, and Umaro continued to run...clear out of the arena. And thus, Izlude wins yet another match against an subpar intelligence opponent who uses his head...in the wrong way...
