Season 8, Week 5
Nina Wyndia
(Breath of Fire II)

Nina had seemed to have been completely forgotten two seasons ago, when she began her run in light. She's now at the opposite end of it, having managed to win her way up through light, and all the way to the middle finals. She has one last challenge before finishing one of the most impressive runs in the RPGDL.Beating Ayame will be no easy task, this is for sure, as she greatly outspeeds and outdamages Nina, but there is no reason for Nina to try her hardest and not opt for her trademark Death attack.

Ayame's silenced her doubters in a big way this season. Not only did she strike down fan favorite Cid Highwind, she managed to take out two of Middle's most dangerous fighters in Robo and Momo. There's only one goal left for her to fill, and it's a tough one- beat Nina and win the championship. She'll be using her standard tactics here- Shrike, Shrike, and more Shrike. The frail Nina won't survive two of her deadly attacks, and with Ayame's killer speed, she's very likely to see that second attack.

And thus, we conclude the "Run of Death" as Nina slaughters the Ninja Ayame with the one spell that won her 8 matches in a row, and the respect that only the lack thereof should be put in Nina the 3rd. Let this be a lesson for those who think 2 = 3.

Nina Wyndia: 19
Ayame: 13

Infinity Dragon
Wow, 8 opponents in a row who can be hit with Death. After easily suriving Ayame's Shrike, Nina takes another Championship.

Lord Windscar
Noooo, Kanon was beaten by Death!!!

But in any case, I must see more death!
