Jerin makes her debut this week, and this is an easy match for her to prove her prowess. Her opponent, Caina, significantly lacks damage, and Jerin has plenty of full HP healing to use when (and if) she needs it. Her Mirror spell makes her immune to all of Caina's sorcerous attacks, and she can return the favor with with the mighty magic of Vulcan and Glacier. Or she can always opt for the traditional beatdown with a few Power-ups from her Trick spell along with her handy Zircon Rod. With all her advantages, Jerin is ready and willing to prove her worth in Middle. |

Odessa's most flamboyant agent makes her debut this week, and she's sure to put in a good showing to impress her boss and would-be love, Vinsfeld. Caina comes into this match with debilitating status effects, decent speed and respectable boss HP. And although some of her moves may be of limited use against this opponent, seasoned dueling-league spectators should know that there's more than one way to advance in the DL. Why, with a little help from Randolph the Magic Key and a convenient pocket dimension, it may just be that Jerin never finds her way out of her dressing room... |
Meeplelard Caina has never been very secure in terms of gender. In Japan, she's a he, in the US, he's a she... That should seriously disturb his/her opponent, right? Well, no. See, Jerin, though female, is still an elf, and as we know, it was THEIR race that perfected the idea of "insecure sexuality."
