Season 13, Week 2
Karsh
(Chrono Cross)

Yet another member of what some are terming the second Chrono Cross invasion, Acacian Dragoon Karsh is confident for good reason that he will succeed where so many of his allies have failed. His foe is both fragile and weak, and her anti-mage tactics are the only reason she's in Middle. Karsh is remarkably handy with a spell when need be, but it's his axe that does the talking when he gets down to business - and Karsh is ready to do just that. One use of his powerful Axiomatic finisher and Karsh should be moving on to a place his game rarely sees: the second round!

Fire is her element, and magic is what she ruins. Seraphita may not inspire the terror that Rubicant or Kary do, but her skills should not be taken lightly. Karsh might not have much in the way of magic, being deprived of elements, but that doesn't mean that Ramsus's pride and joy can't stand up and fight. Seraphita's damage is nothing to scoff at, nor is her perky personality. Such a happy and carefree girl is likely to catch Karsh off guard, and it will only take one slip-up for this Solarian Element to make her mark.

The Axeman
Karsh squared off against Seraphita. The perky young woman was practically bubbly at the prospect of finally getting a match in the RPGDL. She was happier than she'd been in a long time. And Seraphita was always happy.

"Oh boy," she squeeled. "My very first match!" She bounded up to Karsh "Now, you have to make sure not to go easy on me, OK? It won't be fun at all if I don't earn my victory! Let's go!"

Karsh shrugged and then hit her in the face with his axe really hard.

MORAL OF THE STORY: A positive outlook is one way to get ahead in life, but it's hard to argue with an axe to the face.
