What a pain! Paine's first match at the DL happens to be against Gadwin, an aged old knight in a time when women's rights amounted to cooking dinner and pumping out babies. Her youthful vitality will reduce Gadwin's Dragon Cut to a mere scratch, and the lack of years also means that her own sword strikes are much faster and more powerful. Of course, that's if Paine feels like crushing centuries of male oppression symbolically: a quick jump into Full Throttle and this fight is over in seconds.

Knights have a proud lineage and reputation in the DL. While Gadwin may not be the grim terror that Adelbert Steiner is, the Knight of Dight is a fearsome warrior in his own right. Paine might push him to his limits, but he wouldn't have any other way. Flying Dragon Cut leads the way for his offense, and with durability that surpasses that of even the famed Ness and Ragnar, Gadwin will be able to laugh off blows that kill mere mortal men, and follow with steady, speedy strikes from his sword and magic.

Everything in FFX-2 must be accompanied by J-pop. Unfortunatley for Gadwin, the DDR song "Break Down!" came up on the RPGDL Stadium Ipod before the match. Paine smiled and proceeded to help Gadwin do so.

Seeing the imposingly massive Gadwin, Paine decided to change into her uber-garment to utterly crush the pathetic fool. However, as she was in the middle of her pretty changing sequence, Gadwin ran up to her and chopped her in the head. Ouch!
