Not another man! Indeed, it seems like Florina is destined to face her greatest fear in every match this season. Fortunately for her, she's getting much better at dealing with it every fight she wins. While Landis may have wings like her pegasus, he's fairly inept at flying with them, which allows Florina to keep her usual advantage: that of maneuverability and speed. With a lance to go blow-for-blow with the horrifying Winger's scythe, as well as air supremacy, Florina should be perfectly able to take down the self-styled, "Grim Reaper". |

If Florina is afraid of men, the gods of the RPGverse only know what she'll do when a Wingly like Landis! Equipped with a massive scythe and Blood Armor, Landis' appearance is enough to scare even the bravest of souls. Since neither Landis or Florina have any magical talents, this match will be an out-and-out slugfest, the type of fight Landis excels in. The bonus to skill from Blood Armor will help ensure that Landis can get through his opponent's evasion, and his Freeze attacks will quickly incapacitate Florina. With both the psychological advantage as well as the tactical advantage, Landis is poised to enter into the finals. |
Sage Acrin Landis, in his usual, exceptionally....original, manner, had figured out a unorthodox scheme to win this battle. As Florina flew in for her first strike, he ran directly at her, screaming at the top of his lungs in an attempt to throw her off guard, then quickly slammed down the butt of his scythe just before impact. And pole vaulted upwards, slamming Florina off her Pegasus and leaving him as the only one in the saddle. Initially, the battle seemed finished at this point... but unfortunatly, Landis had never ridden a pegasus in his life. So, in an attempt to gain control, he managed to slam both himself and the pegasus into the stands, knocking both him and the pegasus out. Judges deemed this a ring out since he was probably concious when he hit the ground, if not very shortly after. The Pegasus was quickly rushed off to healers....Landis, meanwhile, was eventually hauled off to an Inn to sleep it off. However, Landis, in his traditional fashion, managed to get some level of satisfaction, as, a week later, Florina's pegasus was found with neon pink wings, and no sign of anyone having been near it...
