So many of her fellow Suikoden III fighters have been featured in the DL, and yet Elaine has been passed up. With her Water Rune and Fire Rune, by Suikodent standards a regular cornucopia of magical options, it can’t be because of a lack of versatility in her fighting style. And with Queen already having a match, it couldn’t be her looks…could it? Well, regardless, Elaine is finally up for her first match against Mizuki. Sure, Mizuki might have NINJA POWER on her side, and an annoying little ninja-related ability called Shrike, but Elaine has full healing AND potent fire magic on her side. Mizuki is rather weak to magic, and her attacks aren’t scaring anyone. Elaine should sweep through with without a hitch. |

The ninja from Iluya makes her debut, feeling very...well, emotionless, unsurprisingly. But if she weren't the cold, silent type, she'd be mighty confident about her draw. See, in order for the physically frail Elaine to not get heal-locked, she'll need to pick completely defensive equipment, sacrificing a lot of damage in the process. If that wasn't enough, thanks to the severe delay on her fire spells, any attack stronger than Dancing Flames is absolutely suicidal against the immense speed of a ninja. Meanwhile, Mizuki's tactic of repeatedly bouncing her opponent's head on the floor will be at full tilt, and not even her opponent's limited healing will stop the wind ninja from winning this match. |
Sei Getting increasingly annoyed at the speedy Mizuki evading her spells, Elaine did something very stupid and casted Breath of Ice. Very stupid that is... until you noticed where she was actually aiming at. Mizuki didn't, and thus, she didn't see the patch of ice on the ground before she skidded her way out of the ring.
